Manifestations of Love

A while back Jon and I got into an argument. I don't remember what we argued about but everyday I am reminded of Jon's love due to soap. Here's what went down: I was so upset and decided to shower and head to bed. When I walked out of the shower Jon handed me a bar of soap and smiled so big that I couldn't help but smile back. I immediately forgave him and all was well.

Last night I walked into my bathroom and started thinking about the way Jon showed me that he loved me. I don't know how long it took him to carve the soap but it worked and I constantly am reminded that he hearts me.

I made this pillow as part of Stephanie's graduation present. I also threw in some $ Bills cause she's 18 and she likes to shop! I hope that when she misses me ever so much she'll just squeeze the pillow and think of me!

This project was one of the things Natalie taught our sewing club. Thanks Natalie! (she's my hero!)

Stephanie's Graduation

My sister Stephanie graduated from high school this past Thursday. I can't believe how grown-up she is. She is my last sibling to graduate high school. Unfortunately, it decided to storm as soon as the graduation ended. It was a zoo outside with everyone trying to get out and dodge. We made it back to my parents house safely and then the party began!

New Candy

Jon came home with the new Sour Patch Kids Chillerz. When he first approach me with the idea of purchasing the new Sour Patch Kids candy I was hesitant and thought, what can you possibly do to Sour Patch Kids that would make it new and exciting. Well, you can make it chilled. That sounds weird right? Since I am horrible with the English language I'll let you read my new favorite blog candyaddict.com to read somebody else's explanation of it. I will say that they have included two new colors, blue and purple. Yeah!

In other related news Jon also came home with, and I quote, "the cutest thing ever!" It's a Nintendo Mushroom canister with flower smelling mints.

Can anyone guess what Jon is doing after consuming the Nintendo mushroom?

(Answer: clearly he is doubling in size)
