*Sigh*

I need to vent:

*we are moving tonight, tomorrow and for the rest of the weekend. We got fortunate in that Jon has the next 4 days off to help with the move.
* we are moving because we live in a corner house and the other day Clara ran out the door and our driveway slants down so away she went. There was a car coming around the corner and didn't see her. Luckily I have supermom strength and caught her in time. I called crying to Jon, he calls the housing manager, and we were granted a new home.
* I love my husband. He tells me his mission in life is to make me happy. And he was so serious when he told me that. And I believe him whole-heartedly. He also loves Clara and knows what a danger it is to live in the corner house and having a toddler around.
* walmart in Gallup is the worse. I called the day before asking if they had a certain type of prescription. An hour later and I went to pick it up...."no ma'm, we do not have that type of drug in stock."

Off I go to pack and move into our bigger home. Did I mention it's bigger? Oh yeah!

Our Rez Garden!

Our church has a gardening program and we were fortunate enough to be apart of. It was so beautiful to see the selfless help we received.  The following pictures show you the progression of our very first Rez Garden!

We had loads and loads (and still do!) of gravel in our yard.

The first thing we did was borrow the tiller from the church.  This kind brother is showing Jon how to use the tiller.

My wonderful friend Angilina took care of Clara. This is her daughter- Clara luvs her and misses her!

Here is a good pic of the inside of our 2 bedroom/1 bath home.

Here I am hauling rocks out of our garden!

 Clara watching mama at work!

 I neeeed water!

 Tilling our earth

We had to call the elders to help us remove our neighbors satellite. The people who lived here before us allowed them to use the yard to put their satellite. It was cement folks! Luckily 2 elders who live in a city with a population of 50 and 100 were here to help!

If you look at a map this is where I live.

More tilling!

My sweet friend Angilina feeding my bebe!

We also had the nicest Missionary couple to help us. We layed manure and sawdust.

 My cheering fan!

We had more blocks of cement in our yard :(

Don't worry, I had a ton of waterbottles, doughnuts, breakfast burritos, orange juice and pizza. I like to spoil my helpers!

This is some of the gravel we pulled from out of our yard.

 Our Apple Tree :)

I also decided to plant a raised vegetable bed. Lettuce needs shade and this was the perfect spot.

I planted this the day before I left to Florida for a month!

For a while my vegetable bed looked dead. But.....

 Look at my corn now!

I love our mini corn field! I get compliments all the time. It's truly an amazing garden and I am so thankful to my Church for all of their help and free supplies :)

The pumpkin plant is growing SO much! We have eaten lettuce and basil so far.

Clara Is Moving!

Last night, 8/13/2012, Jon and I put together Clara's new house!  I saw it in Orlando for 14 bucks and I couldn't pass it up (although shipping was 10 bucks!).  I had a very hard day on Monday, as in I was feeling so down.  I said a very sincere prayer to my Heavenly Father.  I couldn't do this alone.  So after I hugged my dear, loyal husband, I decided it was time we built Clara a new house!

Enjoy the pics:

Clara walks out of her new home holding a green envelope. I was like, what IS THAT?! After closer inspection:

 A letter from daddy!

This seriously melted my heart! I love you daddy Jon!!
